Important Notes

As a pet-friendly space, Dann Carlton Belfort Medellín Hotel welcomes dogs and cats. Please familiarize yourself with our regulations for pets entering our facilities.

  • At the time of booking, inquire about the current pet accommodation fee (as of March 2023: $89,000 COP per pet per night). 
  • Only dogs and cats are accepted as pets. 
  • A maximum of two (2) pets per room, each weighing a maximum of 22kg. 
  • Upon check-in, the hotel will provide special regulations for guests and their pets, detailing the conditions to be observed during their stay. 
  • The owner or guardian of the pet is directly responsible for any damage caused by his/her pet 
  • The owner(s) or the person in charge of the pet will be responsible for any visitor or domestic animal that is affected in their physical or emotional integrity.
  • In the event that the hotel is condemned for any type of damage to people or physical property by a pet, its owner will be responsible for reimbursing the Hotel for the amounts and their respective interests.
  • The hotel reserves the right to admit any of these pets if it is deemed appropriate for the safety of its visitors. 
  • The owner(s) or person in charge of the pet assumes all responsibility for such events. Therefore, in the event of a fine or conviction against Hotel Dann Carlton Belfort Medellín, payment of damages caused by the pet or non-compliance with possession thereof, Hotel Dann Carlton Belfort Medellín will be reimbursed for the respective values ​​with their default interest liquidated to the highest rate allowed by commercial obligations. 
  • Pets are allowed, as long as they are domestic animals (dogs or cats). Under no circumstances will the entry of animals such as reptiles, arachnids, birds, among other species prohibited by law, be allowed. 
  • According to Law 746 of 2002, large, medium, or highly dangerous breeds must wear a muzzle at all times and their owners must carry the document proving their registration with the competent Municipal Administration. 
  • When pets enter the hotel, it is understood that the owner(s) or person in charge of them have complied with the provisions of relevant ordinances and declarations regarding the breeds of their pets.
